At mLang®, our mission has always been to transform classrooms through powerful, adaptive EdTech. Recently, our CEO and Associate Professor at the Faculty of Education, The University of Hong Kong, Prof. Elizabeth Ka Yee Loh, Ph.D., traveled to Indonesia to spearhead an impactful international educational collaboration.

Held on 10–11 June 2026 at the Diponegoro Campus, the intensive "Genre-Based Approach (GBA) Training for SMK Teachers" was organised in partnership with the Faculty of Language and Literature Education (FPBS) at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) and BBGTK Jabar (the West Java Center for Teacher and Education Personnel Development, an official regional educational institute under the Indonesian Ministry of Education). The program targeted educators from various vocational high schools (SMK) across the province to boost student competitiveness in the global workforce.
💡 Revolutionising Classrooms with mScaffold and AI
Accompanied by Prof. Emi Emilia, Ph.D. from UPI, Prof. Loh introduced the teachers to a cutting-edge Reading & Writing Integrated Pedagogy. The core of the training revolved around our proprietary methodologies and technological ecosystems:
The mScaffold (4-Level 3-Step) Teaching Cycle: A highly systematic scaffolding approach that guides students progressively from Vocabulary and Sentence structure to Paragraph and full Passage composing.
The Power of the mAI Mind system & mLang: Teachers experienced firsthand how Generative AI can be used to elevate learning. By utilising the mAI Mind®, educators can instantly generate automated sample texts, analyze whole-class performance trends, and provide individualised, automated feedback to every student.
Differentiated, Student-Centred Learning: The workshop demonstrated how the adaptive features of the mLang® Learning Scaffold allow teachers to design flexible exercises catered to varying academic levels.
🤝 High Praise and Insights from the Indonesian Counterparts
The integration of mLang®'s pedagogical tools received enthusiastic acclaim from both Indonesian educational administrators and academic experts, who noted the immediate impact of the workshop.
Mr. Rohimat, S.T., M.A., Head of General Affairs at BBGTK Jabar, highlighted the profound necessity of upgrading teacher capabilities during his opening address and classroom observations:
"To prepare our vocational students for the national and international workforce, the core focus must be on upgrading our teachers' skills in delivering impactful instruction. In today's landscape, building solid literacy and numeracy foundations is absolutely vital."

Reflecting on the teachers' engagement with the new AI tools, co-organiser Prof. Emi Emilia, M.Ed., Ph.D. from UPI, shared her observations on the tangible growth of the educators:
"I am incredibly impressed by the dedication of these teachers, who worked tirelessly from morning until evening. Following this training, we can see clear, positive transformations in their knowledge, their teaching beliefs, and their practical classroom application."

Prof. Elizabeth Loh shared her appreciation for the cross-border collaboration:
"The Indonesian teachers quickly mastered how to utilize the mAI Mind® system to generate feedback and content. This enthusiasm reassures me that the future of education here is incredibly bright."
As m-Chinese Solution Limited continues to innovate, we are thrilled to see our frameworks making a tangible, global impact. We look forward to empowering more educators worldwide with mLang® and mAI Mind®, fostering classrooms that are active, creative, and profoundly meaningful!
